Meet James (JP Sound), a multi-genre DJ with over a decade’s worth of experience in the booth.

Having played at some of the most iconic clubs in the UK, including the Ministry of Sound, XOYO, and Lightbox, James has become a well-respected member of the industry. Supporting top artists such as James Hype, Michael Bibi, Ferrick Dawn and Ninetoes, James has earned a reputation for delivering eclectic, technical sets that take the dance floor on a journey and keep the crowd dancing.

Whether it's House, Techno, Hip Hop, or Disco; warming up, peak time or closing, James knows how to read the room, maximise the vibe and get the party going.

James’ passion for DJing extends far beyond music and mixing records, it’s an obsession with audio. James graduated from the London School of Sound in 2014 and alongside DJing, has been a professional audio engineer in the Film & TV industry ever since working on outside broadcast events such as The 2018 Russia World Cup, the Ryder Cup, the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, the BAFTA’s and BRIT Awards; this dedication to sonic output shines through in his selection and poise when blending records for an audience.
